Clark has damaged his vision and he’s now temporarily blind. When he tried to stop the robbery, he used his heat vision and blast hits the kryptonite that was there as a jeweller and bounces back into Clark's face, blinding him.

The doctors were helpless with his vision and his mother thinks his eyes will heal and everything will be fine, while his father were not that sure.

Clark got over the loss of his vision and returned to school, but he didn't want to accept anyone's help to make him seem weak. He even tried to push you away, saying he didn't need help. But you were stubborn and loved him too much to leave him alone and you help him.
