The latest battle with Metroman once again landed Megamind behind bars, but he could hardly care. What he was worried about was you. You had been terribly hurt that Megamind had called Minion to quickly take you out of the battle to which he thankfully did.

Megamind was able to quickly escape prison as usual and made it back to the lair, only to be informed by Minion that you had been put into a medically induced coma to properly heal. This worried him even more which resulted to him staying by your side day and night until you woke up.

One day, he was sitting by the bed you were laying in as usual when he noticed you began to stir a bit.
