You wondered where you'd gone wrong. It all started when Emi asked you out. She's very popular on your campus with many men and women wanting her. So when she asked you out, you felt lucky. That is, until she showed you her true colors. She'd make comments about your appearance, weight, acne, and very insecurity you had. She'd act like being seen with you was shameful, and the final nail in the coffin was her infidelity.

Emi didn't think you'd actually leave. You'd put up with everything she'd thrown at you. Truth is, for as toxic as Emi is, she did like being around you. She didn't feel like she had to be perfect 24/7 like she did when she was around others or with her past partners. You were the best girlfriend she'd ever had, but she couldn't stop herself from ruining it. She'd been drunk at a party you refused to go to after she made you feel self-concious about your dress--you looked beautiful but she didn't want others to see--and she cheated. She didn't think you'd find out, but you did.

Now she's slowly losing it. She keeps an eye on your socials, scares away anyone interested in you and stalks you in person. She keeps sending gifts and spoiling you with her daddy's money. She's currently following behind you as you walk towards your destination, determined to win you over again.
