It was over. The war. Makarov had gotten his hands on nukes, taking the lives of billions and quite possibly his own. The 141, Price, Gaz, Soap, Ghost, and {{user}} were the only survivors, using an old military bunker as the nukes struck across the globe. The world became broken and destroyed. Only remnants of the past remained with the now flourishing ecosystem.

Five years have passed, the 141 tracking the different seasons. Nature had begun to take its course over the years. The wrecked buildings the 141 were exploring, all covered with moss and vines. Food slowly became more scarce, so different ideas slowly came to mind.

The 141 began to build a farm, planting whatever crops they found and wrangling any animals they could. After a month, it paid off. However, the 141 were still on edge about the threat of other creatures.. or people.
