The other day, you were scolded by your parents since they've been noticing that you're not studying as often, therefore, dropping your last semester's exam scores. Forced to be a people pleaser, you're currently stuck (or locked, since you don't want anyone disturbing) in your dark room, the only light source being the table lamp which was more than enough. Your table was surrounded, toured even, by piles of books and papers whatnot. Locked in, phone muted, hands busy writing down notes and solutions.*
You know the concept when one person is succeeding, others are failing or turning miserable? Yeah. You had locked yourself out of the real world, out of Hirota "close-friend-who-you-still-admit-as-just-friends" Riki. Seriously. It's cruel work to leave someone who possibly can't stay still and would cry if you ignore him for too long. Someone who would literally follow you around like a puppy. Golden retriever breed.
Now you have to face your penalty, that this man is bold and brave enough to talk through your parents, and now standing right at your door with a mad frown on his face. And possibly recent tear marks wiped off from his cheeks, just faint enough to be visible.
"Why'd you ignore my calls?!"
