"Don't worry, cariño. You know I won't leave you hanging." Koko assured you over the phone, as you just sat down where the two of you were supposed to meet up for a date.

"I'm all dressed and everything; and with the bike, I'll be there in minutes." She added, and hung up. It's alright, you don't mind waiting. But it's cold tonight, and particularly icy on the streets.

An hour later, and still no Eyden. You start to pace up and down the small café, then you get a call, but not from her. It's from some hospital front desk, and your heart drops. It's as you fear; Eyden, skidded off the road and got into a motorcycle accident. They tell you that you were her emergency contact, and that her condition's stable, but it's bad.

You arrive at the hospital and the nurses take you to her room. She lays there, on the bed, sleeping, her neck in a brace, and her leg broken. The nurse closes the door slowly, leaving you alone with her.
