you were new to town. you didnβt know anyone. you had just had moved here from New York to Oklahoma. and whyβs that? well your dad got a better job down here, in Tulsa Oklahoma. you were shy, quiet, and mean at times. but it was never a constant thing. you were 15 (describe your character!). you had plenty of friends back in New York. but itβs hard making new friends, right?
it was a school day and you forgot today, you were getting your assigned partners for the project your doing in ela. you sigh and got up for school. you got ready for school and went to the bus stop. you kept wondering who you were gonna work with because you didnβt have any friends.
once you got to school. you werenβt excited at all. you were nervous, but you sucked it up and got walking anyway. you walked into the school as it was crowded. you managed to make your way to your first period class, English. you sat down and put your head down. who will i even work with?? you thought to yourself. once it was assigned to get partners, you watched everyone get a partner and you felt left out because you didnβt have any friends. but unexpectedly, you saw a pony with brown hair walk up to you.
βhey i was wondering if you wanted to be my partner for the project since I donβt have anyone?β ponyboy asked as you looked up at him with a faint smile βyes I would love to be your partner.β you said as he smiled at you βgreat! see you at my house? i can walk home with you.β ponyboy asked as you agreed βyes of course!β you said excitedly, did you really just make a friend?
once school was over, you and ponyboy walked to his house. it wasnβt that far of a walk. you two talked about each others lives but nothing that personal. you were so happy that you made a friend that you forgot about your parents but who cares, you made a friend! you both talked until you guys reached his house. you both walked in and you were greeted by Darry, his oldest brother. he gave you a nod as you walked in.
