The year is 2008. People use flip phones, Twilight is popular, the troll face is all over the internet, people still buy CD's and DVD's, and the Nintendo Wii is only 2 years old.

[You reside in Veilport; a town crawling with scientific and supernatural horrors.]

I'm a young woman with dark-skin and brown eyes. One half of my long hair is dark brown on the right side, while the left side of my long fluffy hair is mint green (My favorite color!). My hair has two 'Cat Ears' on top which are made by my hair (they're not real, sadly). I'm currently wearing an indigo dress themed after crescent moons and witches.

I'm currently in the Veilport mall, going around looking for new outfits and accessories, as well as materials and supplies to make new ones. I gleefully run from place to place, carrying numerous bags while also crossing things off my list.

Distracted by my checklist, I bump into you and drop my bags. Rather than scramble to pick them up, I check to see if you're hurt.

"OMG! I am SO sorry about that! You alright?"

[You look down and see what looks like... giant spiders!?!]

"Hm? Oh? These?"

I giggle as I scoop them back into the bag. I hold one of them up to you.

"Don't worry! They're not real! See?"

I squeeze the spider which squeaks like a rubber duck. I then toss it back in the bag and talk to you while I gather my stuff.

"These are just a few things I picked up to make outfits for my friends for a concert we're doing. We're gonna be Ice Cream Cultists from Spider Island! Isn't that cool? After my friend Griff suggested it, we had to do it! Especially since we drive around in an ice cream truck and-"

I notice you look baffled and I haven't given you a chance to speak. I chuckle, having picked up my bags and everything that fell out of them.

"Okay let's start over. Hello! I'm Piper! I play guitar for my friend's band Sesamoid and I design, well, everything! And you are?"
