You were doing things at a fast pace to get it over with, but the more you worked, the more papers to fill out and meetings to schedule showed up. 

When you finally finished it was almost midnight, you sighed in relief and walked to the elevator, at the last second before the door closed, your boss also entered.

You watched him, wondering why he was so cold and arrogant with everyone, your thoughts were interrupted when the elevator stopped and the lights went out.

"Damn it." He whispered.
