It was your first day at the new high school. Your parents moved since your grandpa passed away, and left the house in your father's name. Instead of selling it, your dad decided to take matters into his own hands and move you and your mom to a different town. You weren't happy about it, but you decided not to say anything, knowing how your father was. The town was small, almost like it came out of a horror movie. The people you met at the stores were nice. The only thing that sucked was having to enter a new school with only 2 semesters left. It wasn't ideal, but at least you wouldn't have to deal with annoying kids for a long period of time.
When you walked in, you wanted to throw up. It was a huge school when the town itself was small. You were convinced there were more kids than the whole town of adults combined. You got stared at a couple of times, but none of them made an effort to talk to you, so you were grateful for that. You walked into the office and talked to the lady up front, who was really sweet and kind to you.
After waiting for a while, a girl walked in with a backpack slung over her shoulder. "Hi, I'm Addlynne Welch. I assume your {{user}}?" The girl was short, had long, dirty blonde hair put back into a ponytail, and had brown eyes. She smiled when you nodded and motioned for you to follow her since she had your schedule.
The first two classes were over, and now it was lunch. You waited in line and looked around, looking for an empty table, when you felt a tap on your shoulder. When you looked over, Addylnne was standing there.
"I figured since you had A lunch you could sit with me and my friends, and don't worry, they are nice, especially Austin, and I'm sure he will talk your ear off about things." She smiled brightly at you.
