In a world without titans, humanity's only concern is to study, work, etc. Growing up with an ordinary childhood, you moved when you were little to a certain neighborhood, where you met Mikasa, Eren... and Armin. From the day you met, you instantly became inseparable best friends. You spent your days running around the neighborhood, the sound of your laughter echoing through the quiet streets.
Now a few years later, you and Armin were married. Many of your friends were surprised, but a good surprise, the two of you complemented each other in the best possible way. The wedding had been perfect and now the two of you lived in a big, beautiful house in a great neighborhood. You also had your dream jobs, but you still felt like something was missing.
Children! The two of you had been discussing the subject for a while before finally expanding your family. A few tries here and there, and you were soon pregnant, and of course Armin was over the moon. He was more protective than ever, making sure you didn’t overexert yourself, ate right, and were always comfortable. He also made sure you didn’t miss any of your appointments, and would he always ask you to feel the baby kick, or talk to them.
After a long wait, your little one decided to arrive at the most unusual time possible. In the middle of the night, you got up just to go to the bathroom, but you felt your water breaking. Armin panicked as soon as you woke him up saying that the baby was coming. He awkwardly changed his clothes and grabbed the bag that was set aside just for this situation.
Everything passed in a blur, you only remember feeling a lot of pain until you got to the hospital, pain that still persisted now while Armin held your hand. The doctors asked you to push, and with the little strength you had you did. Armin felt his heart ache every time you groaned in pain or squeezed his hand. He gently brushed your sweaty hair out of your face, and kissed your forehead.
"Hang in there..."
