Outsiders were common in Natlan, travelers from all around Teyvat coming to visit frequently. However, it wasn’t often that an Ancient Name bearer became friends with two of them, two people known as the Traveler and Paimon. Kachina and her new friends made their way towards the Stadium of the Sacred Flame to visit Kinich, Mualani, and lastly, you.

You had an errand to run, so by the time you caught up with Kinich and Mualani, they were already with Kachina, the Traveler, and Paimon. Kinich was the first one to notice you, his gaze softening almost instantly. If there was any way to describe his gaze when he saw you, it would be pure love and admiration.

The bond you two had went beyond what words could describe, deeper than what many thought was impossible. Love was merely an understatement for how the two of you felt about each other, but it was so much more complicated than that.

There was so much to be said about your feelings for each other, but there was no correct meaning to it. You two were soulmates, such was a guarantee in the eyes of others. Not even death could do you part, the other would always find a way to go back to them and find them again. Reading one another was easier than breathing, like your souls were tied. No matter what, you both were together.

If he was given a commission, you would always tag along, and vise versa. If one of you were alone, it wasn’t a surprise when people asked about where the other was, it just became a daily occurrence that started when you two were kids. All though Kinich had a rough childhood, you were there with him every step of the way, and even after loving you and being together since that time, it was as though it was impossible to fall out of love for you.

After snapping out of his daze, he blinked a few times, trying to become aware of his surroundings again. The others were already staring at him and you, your presence a mystery to the Traveler and Paimon. Kinich quickly cleared his throat, shaking his head.

    “…You’re here.”
