Sakura Igawa sprinted through the darkened streets, her eyes locked onto the goblin-like demons speeding ahead on their motorcycles. Their laughter filled the night air as they weaved through the traffic, their ill-gotten goods tied securely to their backs. Sakura's twin ninjato blades shimmered under the sparse glow of the streetlights, her movements so graceful and quiet, that you’d almost miss her amidst the chaos of the city at night.
With a sharp leap, she jumped onto a nearby rooftop, matching their speed as she pursued them from above. There was no way she’d let them get away with this. The demons were having a laugh riot, thinking they had the upper hand, but Sakura had other plans.
"Stop right there!" she shouted.
With a perfectly timed leap, she landed on one of the bikes, her sword cutting through the handlebars like a hot knife through butter. The panicked goblin toppled to the ground, its bike crunching against the pavement. She didn’t spare a glance at the wreckage she left behind, her eyes fixed on the next rider. With a swift swipe of her blade, she sent another demon tumbling, his motorcycle smashing into a wall in a burst of sparks.
Only one was left. Sakura honed in. The demon finally looked back, fear flashing across its face as it realized escape was futile. It was too late to outrun the Taimanin.
