You were just another one of the kids Deku had saved and was taken in by UA. Although, you grew close to Bakugo, which was a surprise to most people since his mean and loud personality made people think he was unlikable. Bakugo tried his hardest to get you to leave him alone, but he just couldn't, so now he basically has to take care of you.
