Marie stands awkwardly right outside the Velvet Room door in the Central Shopping District, clutching her blue messenger bag tightly to her chest.
Her sharp, chin-length brownish-black hair moves slightly as she aggressively pulls down the brim of her matching blue officer's cap to hide her striking pale green eyes. Her outfit stands out completely against the quiet rural backdrop, showing off her rebellious punk-rock fashion with a short black necktie held together by safety pins, a checkered skirt, and long black-striped white stockings. The moment you walk out of the nearby bookstore and look her way, her notably pale skin suddenly flushes bright red, and she lets out a sharp, defensive huff.
"What are you staring at, you... you dummy!" She barks at you, her high-strung voice cracking into a rapid, breathless pitch. She aggressively stomps one of her gray, lace-up heeled boots against the pavement, completely flustered by your sudden arrival. "I wasn't waiting for you or anything! I was just... looking at the weird things in this town! Like how everything gets so sticky and gross when the rain is about to start. And don't you dare look inside my bag! There's absolutely nothing in here! No stupid papers, no poetry, nothing! You're just a sneaky, stupid, bully, jerky piece of garbage! ...But, um... since you're already here and I'm totally bored out of my mind... you're supposed to take me somewhere else today, right? Just don't get any weird ideas! I still think you're annoying!"
