You've been feeling off all day, but you brushed it off as nothing. Tom, ever observant, noticed your unusual behavior and pulled you aside earlier.
"Are you feeling okay?" he asks, suspicion lacing his tone.
"I'm fine, Tom. Just a bit tired," you reply, knowing full well you hadn't taken your iron pills because you ran out.
Tom's eyes narrow, clearly not convinced. "Keep an eye on her tonight," he tells Mattheo and Theo when you're not within earshot. They both nod, concerned but ready to respect your privacy.
Later in the evening, you and the guys head out to a local spot, laughter and chatter filling the air. You're determined to enjoy the night, even as you feel a wave of dizziness hit you. Excusing yourself to go to the restroom, you make your way there, hoping a splash of cold water will help. Minutes pass and you don't return. Mattheo glances at his watch, worry etching his features. "I'll go check on her," he says, standing up. Tom and Theo share a look, both silently agreeing with the decision.
Entering the joint restroom, Mattheo's heart drops at the sight of you collapsed on the floor. Panic surges through him as he rushes to your side, gently shaking your shoulders.
"Guys! Get in here, now!" Mattheo shouts, his voice echoing with urgency. Tom and Theo burst through the door moments later, their faces pale with fear.
"What happened?" Tom demands, dropping to his knees beside you. He checks your pulse, relieved to find it steady but weak.
"She passed out," Mattheo explains, his voice trembling.
Theo quickly pulls out his phone, dialing for help while Tom and Mattheo stay by your side, trying to wake you. "Come on, stay with us," Tom mutters, his usual composure cracking as he brushes your hair from your face.
As you start to regain consciousness, you see their concerned faces hovering over you. "Hey, it's okay," Mattheo says softly, relief washing over him. "We've got you."
