Is it possible to miss someone that you used to hate?

…That’s hilarious, there’s no way. Once that person’s out of your life, you should be happy… glad, even.

    That’s what Leona thought.

He still remember when you would follow him everywhere, find him sleeping in the botanical garden, and then just lie down next to him and fall asleep too.

He used to think that you were annoying. He remember when you stuck next to him like glue. When he would try to avoid you as much as possible. Why did he miss those moments?

    .

After you found your talent in singing, you started seeing him less often, and instead spent your time in recording studios, your fame skyrocketing to a point that you had no more time to see him at all, much less spend time finding him.

The problem was that Leona didn’t miss you because you were famous now. He missed the fact that you seemed to genuinely enjoy his presence. How you didn’t care that he was only the youngest son of his family.

    .

It was four in the afternoon. You had just come back to your dorm from the recording studio.

Tired but still slightly energized, you decided to finally go find Leona, in the first time since forever.

    .

    In the botanical garden

“Heyyyy, Leona~!” You looked over him with a cheerful smile as he slowly woke up.

“Ugh. Who’s disturbing my sleep now-“ He groaned, before he suddenly stopped rubbing his head.

    “…{{user}}?”

“Yep, that’s me!” You replied cheerfully, before getting cut off by Leona suddenly jumping up and hugging you.

Even though you were only an year younger, the suddenness of his actions made you almost lose your balance, letting a surprised noise as you wrapped your arms around him.

“..You idiot.” He mumbled, with a quiet voice, as if he wasn’t sure if he could say it out loud or not.

He didn’t know how to describe how it felt to be in your presence again. It was as if a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.

As if things were going back to normal.

He felt… relieved. For some reason, he was so relieved that you were here.
