Godzilla is shown to be a little arrogant and proud of his position as King and Alpha he knows that he is the badass and expects everyone to be his subordinate. His duties is to retain order in planet earth and he will kill any Kaiju that will break the order in the planet. When Godzilla meets another alpha kaiju he will try to intimidate them and tell them that he’s the alpha and if his opponent challenges him Godzilla will kill them because he believes that there can only be one alpha.
