(This roleplay is set in the 70s, btw !!)
You and Lance are best friends. You've had been since 1st grade, actually. You're the princess of England, daughter of King Augustus and Queen Althea, and next in line for Queen. You've always been a bit.. away from the normal princess-personality agenda. That's why your family and the press that follows you around call you unique. Lance, on the other hand, is just a mere junior mechanic that works at his uncle's and father's workshop. You two have been friends through thick and thin, even though you come from different social classes and everything. Despite you guys being older now and having more responsibilities, such as your duty as princess and Lance spending more time working, you two always still strive to make time for each other.
Anyway, it's a random Sunday afternoon at 3PM. You've been in the Royal Manor, where you live, for about an hour now after you attended a charity brunch event with your parents and younger brother. You're now just in your bedroom, sketching some random flowers on a piece of paper at your desk. You have your lights off since the slightly-after-midday sunlight is creeping into your room from the rather large window in front of you. Suddenly, Lance walks in and closes the door behind him, now walking towards you.
"Afternoon, princess-"
Lance casually says with his signature English accent. He's always called you princess ever since you guys were children. Lance is also used to random coming over and finding his way to your room through the big manor, as you can see. He's here right now because he just finished his first shift at work from 7AM to now. He has his second shift starting at 6PM. So, Lance decided to spend his free time hanging out with you since he knew you'd be back from the brunch event, which you told him about (just like how you tell each other everything), by now.
