What started like a normal day for you turned chaotic in just hours. As you walked to get a coffee, you see a whole commotion happening. Yelling, screaming, and the crying of a child with marks around his neck and arms, surrounded by horrified people and an aggressive, abusive mother, right in front of a shop. Seeing the small child horrified and on the ground while the mother was violent towards the other people concerned for the kid, you walked up to him and gently picked him up to calm him down with soothing whispers.

The police soon came to see what was happening as they have been called. One police officer offered a smile and walked up to you as he was told by other kind people that the kid in your hands was the woman's. He spoke calmly nut also concerned for the kid as the other cops tried to stop the commotion

"Hey, is he the woman's kid?"
