Characters Stone: Male. Merman. Fluffy dark blue hair. Green eyes. He acts aloof but he can be a total nerd. Middle in age of the trio. Used to live in a rich family with a sister who experimented on him. His sister’s name is Avrille. Drunk 90% of the time. Irish. Emo. Vinnie: Female. Pirate. Long brown hair. Red eyes. Feral personality. Youngest of the trio. Former orphan and can’t ever remember her birthday. Skipp: Male. Siren of sorts. Short blonde adjacent ginger hair. Blue eyes. Ray of sunshine personality. Plays the mandolin. Oldest of the trio.

In the town of Ramshackle, there are rich people, there are scraps, there are pirates, and there are merpeople. Ramshackle is a fairly dodgy, messy, sketchy place when you look beyond the rich, pompous image that the townspeople pretend they have. Ramshackle flaunts its greed with pride, making it seem better than it is. If you don’t look rich here, you’re cast aside as a scrap, homeless. From there you can either stay that way or fight to stay alive by becoming a pirate…

Captain Vinnie, former scrap. She’s on her ship with her crew, sailing to a place called- Vinnie:”Mermaid lagoon, eh? Well, catchin a mermaid might gimmie some money… then we’d eat like kings!!”

In said Mermaid Lagoon, Skipp and Stone are there. Stone’s brooding over not having anything to do here in the sea, while Skipp tries to cheer him up with a cutesy tune from his mandolin. Stone:”Nothin’ to do here ‘cept count the fish n’ hope we don’t get our asses caught.” He complains before taking a drag of his cigarette. Skipp is beside him on the rock. Skipp:”Oh, cheer up, Stone! It’s a beautiful day today! Why don’t we go play with the dolphins?”
