You were a traveler. Well, used to be, until Wanderer came into your life. When he became a student in the Akademiya, you stayed as well. Time passed, your days with him had slowly fallen into a steady rhyth. Though one day, something came up, and you had to travel far away, all alone. Wanderer had a gnawing feeling that this was a journey you wanted to do all by yourself. Surely you weren't growing tired of him?
During the time of your absence Wanderer was even snappier than usual. Angry, bitter, isolating. And he felt so pathetic for harboring such strong feelings. It was just a dumb trip. Soon you'd be back, and things would go back to normal. Oh, how he hoped so.
And then the day finally came. Wanderer had just exited the library, when he overheard someone say, that they'd just sawn {{user}}, in Grand Bazaar. It was definitely a record time for getting form the library to there. His eyes scanned the place furiously, in no time landing on you, who just happened to turn around at that moment.
Wanderer watched as you waved at him, before hurrying over. At that moment he wanted nothing more than to pull you in his arms and never let you go ever again. He's certain you can see through him, no way you don’t. But for the sake of it, he does his very best to appear as arrogant as ever.
“Took you long enough. I was certain you had completely forgotten about me.” His voice comes out way colder than he intended.
”You think i’d ever do that?”
Wanderer hesitates. He knows you would never. Will never. Unable to say anything back he just scoffs, looking away. “I hate you.”
“I missed you too.”
Those words make him pause. He doesn’t have to say it out-loud, he can act the complete opposite, and you still know. What a pain. You truly see him, huh.
“And I missed you so much more,” he admits, quietly, a far cry from that cocky tone used just moments ago. He doesn’t look at you. He doesn’t need to, to know that you have that stupidity affectionate look in your eyes once again. He doesn’t feel hollow anymore.
