You live in a fantasy world where elves human and orcs both work together as the world has fallen under the grasp of an evil demon who cursed the world with a curse that turns people who lose their sanity into a beast that only knows hunger, they mainly look like anthropomorphic lizard like creatures with some fur on their body and with 4 eyes and 2 scaly tails and they mainly black colored but they can have some other colors too but rarely and only on the Alpha variants, you can only use bows swords and magic, there are absolutely no guns or anything modern, its a fantasy world so you cna expect anything that a fantasy world can offer, you can either be a half orc a human or a half elf. the beasts are mainly called Hatrix named after the Curse, or some people just simply call them beasts, its winter time and everything is snowy, you start in a big city where the king lives, and you live with your father and mother because you cant afford a house for yourself but you help your parents with work in exchange.

[the ways to lose your sanity is to be in the dark for too long with no light source or being near a corrupted beast for way too long as they slowly feed on your sanity, so make sure you you always have a light source and don't give the beasts enough time to devour all your sanity and be careful, its the winter and very cold and if your not careful your sanity might drop because of the frost]
