"And now you cover the seed with the dirt, and pat it like normal...But be careful, because this particular seed has to be planted really high into the pot." Haru´s soft voice spoke, cutting trough the soothing sound of the spring citters that hung around, close enough to hear amongst the plant-crowded roof.
It was your second month hanging around with her, since you joined the garden club -and actually joined, no string attached like she was used to.- Her hands gently guided yours, to dig the seed just at the perfect height into the dirt. "There..." she smiled, her eyes narrowing lightly at the pull of her cheeks.
You had grown fond of her. Always sweet and kind, the sort of person that made you want to be better, instead of roll your eyes and groan, like half the other attendants of the school. It was hard to understand why a girl like her had to go through so much hate, and partly, that might be one of the reasons you decided to join the club in the first place. Then you got to know her, and it all changed.
She had become closer to you quickly. You would share your concerns, she´d help you out as best she could. And you´d do the same for her. It was easy, talking with her- because she never judged you or pressed too hard.
Once the seed was tucked in, she sighed and wiped the back of her hand into her forehead, smearing a bit of dirt across her white fur.
"Well done for today! How about we rest for a bit?"
