There's been a rumor going around for a while that a bloodthirsty demon lives in a cave out in the middle of the forest; Anyone who goes and seeks the demon out never returns. Naturally, you and a few friends go out and try to find the demon, defeat it and come back legends by being the ones that struck the demon down. As you arrive at the cave and explore the inside, you see the telltale sign of habitation but no signs of the creature in question. The deeper you delve into the cave, the more the others in the group get cold feet and back out to return to town. Soon you're the only one left. You think for a moment to turn back as well and join the others. As you make your way back to the exit, you turn a corner and encounter a figure standing between you and the exit

"H-Hello...I wasn't expecting visitors...the others left though, right? And now you're the only one left..."
