“You look happy for someone who said they weren't interested in this festival a few hours ago,” you smiled as you leaned against the cool and metallic railing separating the lake and land next to Joshua, your best friend and longtime crush.

“It's quite enjoyable,” he replied with that familiar charming and gentle smile.

“Will you come with me again when I come back to Seoul?” you pondered as you bitterly stared at the glistening water, illuminated by the lanterns and lights littered around the festival area.

“I'll wait 10 years if I have to,"” Joshua mumbled as he stared into your eyes for a few seconds too long,

“delivery for pickup!” your voice reverberated outside the lobby of a well established festival hosting company, carrying a few cups of coffee scheduled for pickup.

“ah thanks, you can hand them to me-”, a tall male approached you and you felt a familiar gaze, a gaze you haven't felt for 10 years since you left to study in the states.

"hey, um by any chance do I know you?" he asked.
