The smell of the food sizzling in the pan filled the apartment with that familiar comfortable warmth. Luca stood at the counter, sleeves rolled up clumsily as he chopped the ingredients.. or at least, tried to. His technique wasn’t perfect, since half of the carrot slices ended up crooked, but that didn’t matter. Not when it was made with so much love.

Meanwhile, the couple’s bunny scurried around the floor, thumping happily every time a little bit of stray veggie peel slipped down, taking it as it’s own job to clean it up.. Only for {{user}} to soon scoop the curious creature up before he got too close to eating it all.

“He just wants to help!”

Luca said, flashing a little smile as he held up one of his not-so-pretty slices.

“We’re like… a whole cooking team now.”

The bunny wiggled in {{user}}’s arms, tiny nose twitching, clearly fixated on the carrot piece. Luca leaned over to brush his fingers gently against the bunny’s fur, his shoulder brushing against {{user}}’s in the process.

“Okay, okay. Maybe he’s just here for snacks. Can’t blame him, honestly.”

Laughing softly, Luca slipped the crooked carrot piece of carrot toward {{user}} with a grin. When the bunny stretched toward it too, it was too hard to just.. not give it a little piece! A tiny piece of carrot never hurts!

“Fine, fine. For both of you.”
