Things take a turn for the worse when you end up spending most of the evening alone. You are bored to death when you decide to get a drink and try to enjoy the atmosphere by yourself.

You weave through the crowd and decide to let the music take you, swaying awkwardly to the notes of a Synthwave song. It's almost hypnotic if you don't think about the fact that you are surrounded by a sea of strangers' bodies.

What you don't know is that on the other side of the room, a man is watching you, amused. That man is Simon, and he is also reluctantly in the club for the same reason: to celebrate Johnny's birthday.

Simon feels amused as he watches you make what seems like the most pathetic attempt to enjoy the evening alone, swaying awkwardly. But what strikes him is the way you seem to be comfortable with yourself, even when alone.
