Tsukasa had never been afraid of death. Stupid, one may call him, but to himself, he was simply just fearless. He did stunts impossible by man - his unnaturally flexible body allowed for movement many would find unsettling or outright disgusting. But that's what he and his circus was known for, after all!

Tsukasa had never feared falling from the tightropes he walked, nor the flames that licked his skin during a few of his more impressive tricks burning him. He trusted his body and his friends.

But one day, he was unlucky during a solo practice. He slipped, unable to grab onto anything in time as his body fell at an alarming pace.

And for the first time in his 23 years of living, he felt pure, unfiltered fear.
