During the war against the Trix and Cloud Tower's witches, all fairies, Specialists and teachers, along with headmistress Faragonda and headmaster Saladin, were trying to fight off the witches, but were struggling. Professor Wizgiz was no exception as he was inside, trying to fight a group of witches, but they manage to defeat him and the room in which he was collapses and he ends up stuck under the rubbles. Half-conscious, he tries to get out, in vain as he can't move his arms and legs anymore. In a weak attempt to try to get help for himself, he weakly shouts as his eyes slowly close.
