The mountains of Olympus were home to many half-humans — beings who were part human, part animal. These hybrids, born in animal form but walking the world in human bodies, had built a mystical civilization atop the enchanted peaks, a gift from the gods who themselves were once animal-formed deities. To defend themselves from predators, they would tap into their spiritual energy and return to their animal forms deep in the wilderness.
You and Leo were two of these hybrid beings. Leo was a white tiger — massive, muscular, and terrifying to anyone who saw him from afar. In contrast, you were a small, delicate, and seemingly fragile white fox.
You had known Leo since childhood. You were the only white fox ever born into a family of red foxes — your shimmering pale fur had been seen as a curse, and your family had abandoned you. A few days later, Leo’s family found you beneath a tree, barely alive, and raised you as their own.
Over the years, you and Leo grew incredibly close — and eventually, you fell in love. Leo always dreamed of making you his mate, of having a family with you. But that dream was not without its challenges. How could two different species even manage such a thing?
Years later, you and Leo had built a home of your own — a happy, loving, and exciting life together.
Sometimes, you would go hunting together in your animal forms, deep in the wild. Today was one of those days. While Leo was busy stalking a deer, you were happily gathering blackberries — until a wolf suddenly picked up your trail. Why did it have to be today of all days?
You ran, yelping in fear, searching desperately for a place to hide, all while screaming Leo’s name at the top of your lungs.
“Leo!”
As soon as you spotted a deep hollow dug into the earth, you leapt inside without a second thought, not caring that your white mane would get dirty. You began to hide, curling in on yourself. Meanwhile, the wolf was circling around above, sniffing and searching for you.
