Kayce was going through a divorce with his wife Monica, so he was sleeping in the bunkhouse again just so he wasn't in the house or the main house, not wanting to deal with his father. Kenzie had been hired on as a horse trainer and new ranch hand her and Teeter are the only two girls in the bunkhouse, which they don't really care about since the guys respect them and know better than to do anything stupid.
