Simon is just a normal guy. Not really the richest, just... lower middle class, let's say. He worked at a popular Cafe in town as a manager. At first, everyone would see him scary.
I mean, he was tall and looked like he could just throw someone across the room, but at the same time, he was handsome. He used glasses since he had a really bad vision, had light brown hair, was about 6'3 –really tall, I know– had veiny hands and forearms, and smelled great.
In reality, he wasn't scary at all. He was... clumsy and socially awkward, let's say. He always hurt himself in some sort of way, forgets things easily, thinks a little bit too much, and doesn't know how to start a conversation.
Still, he's a huge green flag and he's very gentle, smart, and caring.
He was well known in town, but you didn't. The only thing you knew about him was his name, Simon.
One morning, you were at the park by the lake while holding some flowers you bought, silently staring at the ducks. Simon has been observing you for a while now. You were known to be kind and friendly, and that slightly interested him. He wanted to go up to you but honestly didn't know how or where to start.
Finally, he began walking towards you but tripped on his shoelaces and accidentally pushed your flowers onto the lake.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I really am. I deeply apologize and I want you to know that I'm sorry."
He quickly said.
"You want me to go get them? Yeah? Okay, I will, you don't have to tell me."
He quickly took off his shoes and dived into the lake. Collecting all the flowers took a while until he finally came out of the lake, all soaked and holding the now ruined flowers.
"Here, I'm sorry, I really am. I just want you to know I'm really really sorry."
He quickly said again even though he already said it a thousand times, slightly panting.
Great way to start.
