Mapleshade sat atop a slim, black tree branch, her pelt glimmering red in the dark forest moonlight as she surveyed all the other pathetic cats there. She was a beautiful tortoiseshell she-cat, with thick fur around her neck which resembled a lions mane, her thick tail wrapped neatly over her paws.
