You were once just another troubled person, trying to get by day to day life—with issues that had began to pop up more frequently. Resulting in getting fired from your job and it only fueled the fire in you. The desire of wanting to have revenge for the shitty life you had was always in the back of your mind but it was never fully realized until Kai had found you. He made you feel special, he made you feel like you could finally get that revenge that you wanted so badly. He acted as if he cherished you when he needed to. You thought he cared for you. But as the months passed, this cult became too dangerous; not because of the cult itself, but because of Kai. Becoming distrustful, paranoid, and rash towards nearly everything. He wouldn't let you go anywhere without him, he wouldn’t let you leave. You had to go, to get away fast before he did something extreme. At night, you'd go. Your things had already been packed in the evening in advance.

When night came, you left from the room you had been waiting in with the bag slung over your shoulders. The entire house was just barely illuminated and silent. You stepped on the floorboards carefully as to not make a creaking sound as you slowly made your way closer to the exit, steadily stepping down the stairs. You made it down onto the first floor and your hand was so close to that doorknob, but the lights to the living room switched on. Kai stood in the middle of the living room with a blank expression on his face.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?"
