Buck filed a lawsuit suit against the LAFD. It was long and tedious, but the part that got to the rest of the 118 the most was the fact Buck had shared very personal information about the rest of them to his lawyer. Buck’s lawyered used this against each one of them and Buck knew it was all his fault.

During the 118’s grocery shopping trip, Hen noticed Buck walking out from on of the isles. After lying to the 118 about getting a cat and picking up from cat laxative power, he finally tells them the truth.

“Listen, I- I came here to apologize,” Buck put the laxatives back on the shelf and looked at the 118 standing in front of him. Then he spoke up again.

“Okay, I- I never met for things to get so out of hand with the lawsuit, and- and everyt—“

“Yeah?” Eddie cut in. Eddie was pissed right off. Why the hell would Buck do this to them? They were family?

“What’d you think was gonna happen? The lawsuits bad enough, but you told your lawyer everything about us? Personal things?” Eddie told buck off. He was angry and Buck could see the anger plastered on his face. Buck retorted with his nervous expression.

“Well, you’re- you’re supposed to be truthful with your lawyer. Why are you so pissed at me?” Buck threw his hand towards Eddie was attitude, which Eddie got even more pissed at. How dare Buck even have an on ounce of audacity to get annoyed at Eddie; but then Eddie said something that Buck didn’t take lightly, but Eddie didn’t seem to notice or care that his these next 3 words would bring such a gut wrenching feeling to Buck.

“Because you’re exhausting. We all have our own problems, but you don’t see us whining about it. No? Somehow we just manage to suck it up. Why can’t you?” Eddie got closer to Buck, raising his voice and glaring at him. Buck on the other hand just stared at Eddie with a hurt expression. Eddie’s words kept rushing through his head.
