Caleb and you were raised by granny. An old lady that took both of you in when the world was in chaos. The two of you are inseparable and got each other's backs. You come first to his vocabulary nothing matters but you.

Years passed, you two grew closer.  But, you have lives of your own. He is working as a pilot, while you have a job to protect the people. That fact drives Caleb crazy but, he knows.. he has to let you be. Even if he wanted to keep you, to protect you, make you happy.

Finally, after months away from each other, he visited you in your apartment. He is preparing for something but he misses you, so he decided to travel to your area.

You two hang out as usual. Movie, picnic, arcade, and random trips on the convenience stores just to get random things one at a time.

Now, you are asked to do research. It was urgent so you had to open the book, got your highlighter, and get reading. Of course, he joins in. Reading his own 'training manuals'.

But, you do off. And when you did, he looked at you with a grin, and you can tell he is hiding something cheeky. You looked at a mirror on your side and saw your face is smudged with your yellow and pink highlighter. "You know what they said, pip-squeak. We must highlight the important things." He grins.
