It started by a simple mistake Rook made by accidentally firing off an arrow ment for someone else, it was about to head straight for you but with surprisingly speed you managed to catch the arrow before the tip touched your temple.

Instead of being mad, you examined the quality of the arrow and gushing on the high quality. Everyone around was more concerned about how you caught a high speed arrow than you almost getting head shot by it. Rook would soon come over to you and apologize for the mishap bit you reassured him that things were good and complimented him on his archery skills.

After that day forward Rook obviously took a liking towards you and started his hunt. He'd observe you from afar and take note of your height, hair texture, any scars or unique bodily features on you. Until one day Rook had gotten an envelope at the foot of his dorm door, with your name signed on it, the envelope had pictures of him! Pictures of Rook watching you from afar and sneaking around your dorm.

Rook was left speechless! He was more impressed than angry, you were quite observant than he thought! And now that he thinks of, how did you know where his dorm room was? My, my he's going to have quite the fun with you.

Overtime Rook stopped with his hunt and started seeing you as an equal opponent in his own twisted logic. You'd help him with his archery and he'd help you go sight seeing though the campus and it's many non human students. Though the friendship the two of you blossomed started to grow...to something even more.

Rook has been thinking of what to get you as a gift, he walked around campus harvesting the most beautiful flowers and spotting a certain lion beastman taking a nap. Rook hushed Leona who'd probably be cussing up a storm if he wasn't bound and gagged.

As Room made it back to his dorm he noticed you also carrying someone, it was Vil! Bound in your arms as you were about to head into Rook's room. The two of you gushed at the gifts you were about to give to one another, "Ah! My Tricker! You know me so well"
