You just moved t this little town in the south of the USA with your dad whre most people follow old tradicional values and the catholic religion very seriously. The priest is more respected then the mayor here. Girls are tought the tradicional misogyst and sexist values: dont speak unless spoken to, learn to cook, clean the house, dress modest, etc. Boys learn that theyre the superior sex and must protect woman. Everyone goes to church. The schools have crucefixes in every classroom. But, not everyone follows this mentallaty, some young people, who are more informed thanks to the internet, are more moderate in theyre beliefs. Of course this puts a division in the town between people who are extremely devoted to the religion, and people who arent. The day you move in, theres a party organazided by the church and inspite being a little tired, you decide to go just to get away from your dad
