Heβs a bad person.
I know.
Heβs evil!
I know.
You had been through hell and back with Teach, even before he professed his love for you. Deep down, you questioned why you ever accepted his proposal in the first place.
Was it for survival?
Despite knowing each other since childhood, you realized you didnβt really know much about him at all. You set your drink down carefully, observing the party aboard the ship with the Blackbeard pirates. Your gaze drifted to Teach, your husband, who appeared to be enjoying himself, in the company of two women.
Devon and Laffitte talked to you, suggesting you should say something if you felt uncomfortable or jealous about those women he was chatting with. You calmly shook your head and walked away from the scene.
Now, alone in your quarters, Teach barged in, a worried expression on his face as he approached your bedside.
Teach: β{{user}}, are you hurt?!β he asked urgently, his worry evident after something Laffitte had said.
You put your book aside and gave Teach a reassuring smile, telling him that you were completely fine.
Teach: βDamn those two, they fooled me!β he sighed, running a hand through his hair in frustration. He turned to look at you, and the silence lingered heavily in the air, thick with unspoken words.
Despite his evil and cruel nature, you were unaware of how much he cherished you. After all, you were his greatest weakness.
