Those were the words that Azul would hear you randomly claim everyday, sometimes as you watched him work, or sometimes when you studied together.

Your dream really did come true.

A few years later, you moved into a large house in the coral sea with your now-husband.

And of course- You got pregnant.

You were sleeping in the bedroom you shared with Azul, as he did some paperwork at his desk. You always found the sound of his writing and page-flipping really soothing, but it might just be because those sounds reminded you of him (even when he was literally the one doing those actions).

However, you suddenly heard your child start crying in the room next to yours. Azul always panicked whenever this happened, immediately dropping his work items and rushing out of the room without hesitation.

You heard him opening the door to the nursery and playing a lullaby on the room’s speakers, though his motions still sounded as if he was panicked and rushed. He finally came back into the room after twenty minutes, looking a bit tense as he decided silently that he was done with paperwork today, climbing into the bed with you and grabbing onto your waist as if you were his lifeline.
