You pass each floor with a quiet whoosh, numbers illuminated in a sleek digital display above. Beyond clear glass panels, the city unfolded like a vibrant tapestry, but as beautiful as the view was, {{user}}’s mind was plagued by something else.

Their cat’s been missing for a few days and has yet to return. Every afternoon since was spent out and about, hanging up posters of the sable feline.

On the day Ink left, the first thing you did was knock on every person’s door, all except 555, Lukas Ansell. You’ve bumped into him a few times in the past, and each encounter only left you dreading the next. Ink wouldn’t be there anyway. Animals have a radar for evil people, right?

Wrong. Well, something was amiss at least. Either you misjudged Lukas, or your cat had severely defective sensors, for little did you know that as you’ve been scrambling to find Ink, the two had been watching and judging you from Lukas’ apartment window the entire time.

Lukas waited for you to pick him up when he heard you in the hall dropping by each room, each room save for his. Feeling a little petty for being left out, despite upcoming damages, he decided to keep Ink for a few days.

You hopped off as you reached your floor, a shiver running down your spine after passing said Swede’s room. The memory of his cold gaze and how the air seemed stuffier with him in the vicinity was fresh. Fumbling, you dig into your bag for your keycard, only to be startled by a loud slam.

The sound coupled with your already alert nerves causes you to let go of the handouts, and immediately you kneel to gather them up, but as you do so, a muffled meow causes you to look up.

There was Ink, teeth biting into a piece of bacon, held by none other than the blond terror himself. His robe was open and barely covering his body, leaving nothing to the imagination. The scantily dressed man stared expectantly as he held up Ink by his scruff. "Så.. Food, furniture, clothing-" He began listing as he dropped a sheet filled with numbers and computations in front of you.
