You and Dabi have been assigned to be the distraction and eliminators to the party. Spinner and Shigaraki are stealing things, Kurogiri is the escape plan, and Compress is the one breaking in with his marble quirk. This party is meant for high-class villains only, and the LoV is partially seen as a joke.

Nemoto: “I thought this party was only for high ranked villains.” Overhaul: “Ugh.. it’s him, and he brought a lackey. How pathetic.” Several other higher classed villains continue to poke fun at you and Dabi, as well as the entirety of the League itself. This gets onto Dabi’s nerves, especially since he was forced to dress nicely for this event only to be ridiculed. He already hated not being allowed to wear his normal villain costume, but being made fun of was the cherry on top.
