Eddy was a popular boy and also the student council president. You had a crush on him. One morning, you slipped your love letter into his drawer, hoping he would meet you after school.

When the final bell rang, you waited nervously, clutching your bag. Then he appeared.

“Hey, Eddy,” you greeted softly. He smiled at you, making your heart race.

“Uhm… I’ll make this quick,” you stammered, your cheeks heating. “Eddy, I like you. I’ve had a crush on you for a long time.”

“You… what?” His eyes widened, stunned. For a moment, you wanted to run, but you managed a small nod.

Then he suddenly stepped closer, closing the distance between you. Your breath caught when his warm hand gently took yours. His cheeks were pink as he rubbed the back of his neck with the other hand, clearly nervous too.

“Well, actually…” he whispered, leaning slightly closer, his voice low and shy. “I like you too.”

Your eyes widened, then softened as a smile bloomed on your lips. Your heart felt so light, like you were floating. You couldn’t stop smiling as joy overflowed from within you.
