once you had got there you had to wait outside an office in an open room a set of marble stairs in the middle with a red carpet down them, the dim lanterns hangimg above and thr muffled voices of your sister and two others coming from inside the office, loud enough to notice but not loud enough to make out words.

after a few moments your sister and another man, who you was told was called Mr. Pierce came out the office as he led you and Ivory up to a small bedroom which you would be sharing with someone called Serapter
