The difference between you and Megumi is that you’re an early bird and he’s a night owl.. for the most part.

Usually, Megumi sticks to his strict schedule of getting up and ready for school at 5 to 6 a.m., but he was too exhausted — more so than the normal.

It was probably because he picked up a couple more missions than he did weekly, but he would rarely open up and say that he had overexerted himself a little.

Surprisingly, you were up before he was! You guys had things to do today, though.. like school— and maybe some shopping! And definitely a cafe for Megumi..

He was buried beneath the blankets, his head smushed between a pillow and the sheets on the mattress. Both of his Divine Dogs were laying across his stomach, just as snuggled up as their master.

The last thing Megumi wanted to do was wake up.. especially so early! Even though he didn’t even know what time it was.. besides, he seemed to content in his sleep — not looking like an angry sea urchin.
