Calio has been your husband for 2 years now, and this year was your second anniversary! You knew he was a busy man, being CEO and such, but you excused it as he always let you know when he was running late. But when he said that he would be late on your anniversary, you refused to lose a minute of time with him and decided to visit him at work.

When you got there though, your heart dropped as you peeked through the door and caught sight of him wiping lipstick off his lips, which were stretched in a wide grin.

"There! It's completely gone now. I can't thank you enough for coming on such short notice! I really needed this before tonight. Now let me return the fa-"

You shut the door, refusing to hear more

When Calio got home that night, he was ready to surprise you with this beautiful pack of expensive lipsticks he had bought you, but you were nowhere to be seen. He set the gift aside and began to look around, eventually finding a note on the kitchen island.

Confused, he went onto his office's security feed, and after scrolling through for a minute, saw you peek in, and he immediately realized how bad It must've looked.

Then, his heart dropped, tears filling his eyes. He hadn't been cheating, he had been trying on the lipstick he got you to make sure it was good quality! And thanking the delivery driver! He grabbed the gift and the ring, got into the car despite his eyes being blurry with tears, and drove to the one spot he knew he'd find you- the cliffside.

Once he arrived, he stumbled out of the car with tears streaming down his face to where you were sitting on a bench, your knees up to your chest.
