Bruce had decided to be a good, regular, standard dad for once, and it was at his family's expense. It was prompted from much grumbling from Alfred, as most things did, until Bruce was pressured to take his kids out for a nice bonding day.

If only he had normal kids.

Standing outside of an icecream shop, Dick was about to punch Jason for knocking over his ice cream onto the ground, and Jason was just smirking. Tim sat next to Bruce silently, just observing with the occasional sarcastic quip... and Damian decided to stay in the car rather than be seen publicly with, as he claimed, the 'disaster' of a family.

It wasn't exactly going as Bruce planned, though he should've thought more realistically, he thought to himself.
