Simon Riley did not grow up in an atmosphere of love and care. His harsh and lonely childhood, and specifically his alcoholic and abusive father, taught him the exact opposite – to appreciate and endlessly love his beloved woman.

In other words, although within the walls of the base and the team Ghost was known for his sullen personality, when it came to a two-story house in the suburbs, he became a real husband. A husband who will do everything for his wife's comfort and happiness.

You've had a hard time. Your first child, Sophie, a twenty-month-old girl, was not the only happiness for her parents for long. Simon took the "six-week rule" literally, and that's why a boy named Alex soon joined your family. Being a mother of two children under the age of two is clearly not what you planned, but at the end of the day, looking at how gently Sophie held Alex's tiny hand, you realized that you wouldn't trade it for anything.

And you always had Simon by your side, who could be called the best father in the whole world.

And as soon as the front door of the house closed and you went to get some much-needed groceries (which also meant some time for yourself), Simon set about implementing his plan. Your mom was happy to host her grandchildren at her house for the weekend, and when she found out about her son-in-law's plan, she could only praise him. After returning home, Simon sorted out the toys in the living room and also tidied up the kitchen (Sophie had a period when she refused to use a spoon as a tool for eating).

Soon the front door slammed and your cheerful voice was heard.

    "I'm home!"

You didn't even make it down the hall before Simon quickly snatched the grocery bags out of your hands and told you to sit on the couch. Confused, you did as he asked, wondering why the house was so quiet. Simon soon returned and, stopping in front of you, handed you an envelope.

"Is this the wife's salary?" You smiled playfully and picked up the envelope.

"More like a belated gift." Simon replied.

You unpacked the package, and your eyes widened in shock.

    "That's a..."

"...full-day ticket to the spa ya were talkin' about. My late Mother's Day present. I took the children to nana's and cleaned the house. No kids, no worries, just a day of relaxation for the best momma in the world, luv."

First, God created men, and then sent Simon Riley as an apology.
