You were much younger and more frail than your brother, Eren, and his and your best friend, Mikasa. You would constantly be harassed and bullied by other children. Eren and Mikasa were normally there to rescue you.

"Stay away from them!!" Eren yelled, running over to you and your bullies.

The bullies quickly ran off. Eren liked to believe it was him that scared them off, but you knew it was Mikasa.

"Are you okay?" Mikasa asked, wiping a piece of dirt from your face.
